The all-inclusive approach to governance advocated by this administration is Tyielding results in terms of spirited individuals and corporate bodies joining the government in moving education forward. In recent times schools in the state have been experiencing unprecedented rise in infrastructure development, thanks to the collaborative effort by the government and private organisations – Public Private Partnership (PPP). A newly constructed block of classrooms in Araromi Ilogbo Junior Secondary, Oko-Afo, Badagry was commissioned recently. At the commissioning ceremony, His Excellency,the Governor of Lagos State Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode represented by Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Akinyemi Ashade. He disclosed that this administration’s inclusive policy in ensuring that the incident of out-of-school children is reduced, is an unwavering commitment. Also a newly constructed block of classrooms with books and furniture was donated by Nigerian Breweries Plc at St Patrick Grammar school Epe. At the commissioning ceremony, Her Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Idiat Adebule who was represented by the permanent secretary ministry of education,Mrs. Adebunmi Adekanye commended the Nigerian Breweries Plc for being part of the revolution ongoing in the education sector of the state. She affirms their intervention to the upliftment of education at various levels in the state is a clear commitment of the company’s policy in building the future of the state . Estate Primary School Ikorodu got a block of classrooms with offices built by Chief Monzor Olowosago. The governor was represented by his Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, Honourable Kehinde Joseph .The governor commended the donor for his contribution to raising the standard of education which is the bedrock of of development of any society.
