LASG COMMENCES SALE OF ENTRANCE FORMS INTO MODEL COLLEGES

The Lagos State Ministry of Education has announced the commencement of sale of forms into Junior Secondary Schools (JSS 1) in the 16 (Sixteen) Model Colleges/Upgraded Schools for the Year 2018/2019 Academic Session. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Adebunmi Adekanye who made this known recently during a chat with news correspondents in her office, reminded parents and guardians that the collection of forms for Lagos State Screening Test for Primary Six (6) pupils is the prerequisite for admission of pupils into JSS 1 class in the Model colleges and Upgraded Schools. Adekanye reiterated that the registration is open to interested primary six students in all Public and Private Schools in the State, noting that the registration of candidates will be done through customized discs (CD) which will be issued to candidates upon the payment of 10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) per candidate. She advised parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children and wards in the Model Colleges to obtain the forms within the stipulated time as late registration will attract an extra cost of N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) per candidate making the total cost N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira). The Permanent Secretary, however, implored interested applicants not to patronise touts for collection of the forms, maintaining that the collection of the registration form is seamless as parents are only expected to collect payment invoice from the Account Department of the Lagos State Examination Board, pay at the designated Bank and show evidence of payment for validation and issuance of receipt. The sale of forms will close on Friday 27th April, 2018.
