Education District V is leaving no stone unturned in the areas of skill acquisition and leadership training for its students. Towards achieving this, the District recently organised a 5-week intensive training on various skills ranging from vocational, entrepreneur and leadership skills. Students were trained in vocational and entrepreneurial skills. Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mrs. Anike Adekanye, Tutor General/Permanent Secretary (TG/PS ) Educational District V alluded to the fact that skill acquisition along with academics is the prerequisite for twenty-first century development goal. The Chairman of the occasion, Commissioner for Finance, Economic and Budget Mr. Akinyemi Ashade who was represented by Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr. Abayomi Kadiri affirmed that vocational education is a good option EDUCATION DISTRICT V EMPOWERS STUDENTS WITH ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS for students to embrace for a great future.
