OUR STUDENTS ARE THE GREATER TOMORROW THAT WILL BUILD A GREATER LAGOS - ABOSEDE ADELAJA

A passionate call had gone out to students of Lagos State to choose careers based on their interests and passions and not chosen as a result of their parents and guardians pressure. This was disclosed at one of the programmes lined up to celebrate the Children’s Day in the state by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education. She said this at the Youth Forum and Career Day Exhibition held recently at Oregun Senior High School Hall. The event was organized in order to guide students on how to choose careers based on passion and interest rather than fulfilling other people’s desires. The theme of the event was: Unite to Reverse the Impact of Covid- 19 Pandemic on Children. Some other sub topics like ‘’Choosing a Career’’; ‘’Considering Nursing as a Career for Male Students’’ and ‘’Looking into Event Planning as a Means of Livelihood’’ were also discussed.
