Ability to build and assemble a robot helps a student to proffer solution to an identified problem within the environment. It also stimulates critical thinking in students to identify a challenge and think out-of-the-box for immediate and technology based solution. Speaking at the grand finale of the Y2021 Robotic Competition for public Secondary Schools in Lagos State, at NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo noted that the annual competition which is keenly contested is an initiative of the State Government poised towards promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics education in Lagos Schools. She added that over the years students through this platform have represented the state at national and international competitions.
