The third pillar of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu THEMES Agenda which focuses on Education and Technology has helped Esther Odekunle, a student of Idata/Ilagbo Community high school, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos state, to be recently selected as a member of the Teach For All Student Leader Advisory Council. Esther will be serving alongside 7 other students from Armenia, India, Latvia, Mexico, Peru, Qatar and Zimbabwe. Esther is the co-founder of a Community Tech Lab in Ilagbo Community, aimed at creating opportunities for teenagers to access and learn digital/life skills that’ll change their perception about education and personal development. In September 2021, Esther launched “Skill2Rural Boot Camp" with some of her friends to empower students of Idata/Ilagbo Community with skills that will prepare students for the future.
