A teacher Mr.Olasunkanmi Ogunbowale from St Agnes Primary School, Kosofe LGEA have emerged as the best teacher in 2020/2021 academic session during the Merit Award ceremony for Lagos State Primary School teaching and nonteaching staff as well as staff of Local Government Education Authority (LGEA). The event was hosted by Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) at the LASUBEB Multipurpose Hall in Maryland. In his address, the head of Service represented by Mrs. Anike Adekanye, the Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Education District 2, disclosed that the initiative of award ceremony for Public servant is indeed very laudable which clearly represents another opportunity as the state government now gives due recognition and celebrates diligence as well as the spirit of Excellence among staff. “The award further underscores the present administration’s commitment to staff welfare, part of which includes employing motivation and reward system,†emphasized Okunola.
