Sapphire Exploits Educator's Conference is an educational programme purposefully established to bring educators, experts and professionals from all over Nigeria and beyond to discuss pertinent educational issues. It also provides opportunities for teachers to be trained on pedagogical skills in order to ensure improved students performance and well-being. The theme for this year’s conference is Usage of Technology towards the advancement of Education in Nigeria. The 2012 winner of best teacher in Lagos state Mrs Wunmi Tolu-Alalade who happens to be the convener and lead consultant of Sapphire Exploits, disclosed that since technology had come to stay, it behooves on all educators to leverage on this new platform. The convener also affirms that technology alone cannot effectively drive itself but technology savvy educators would the ones to drive it in order to be relevant in the new emerging world.
