A Sport Campaign Advocacy programme has been brought on stream in the country by the Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF) for both Primary and Secondary school students tagged ‘Say Yes to School Sport’. The President of NSSF, Mrs. Olabisi Joseph revealed that it has become essential to introduce sport at an early age to young people noting that instead of channeling their excessive energy into social vices, the advocacy campaign tends to help youngsters channel it into sports. “We can’t just continue to tell young people to say no to some social vices like: say no to drug abuse; say no to criminality; say no to cybercrime and say no to bullying. If we are taking away something from them it should be evident that we must replace it with something. The next line is what they should say yes to. They can be guided to say ‘yes’ to sport†she enthused. A national sport icon and an Olympian, Mrs. Bose Kafo said sport had taken her to all over the world and that the
