Administrative staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) which has been consistently providing excellent management training recently trained management and staff of some States Universal Basic Education Board for effective and efficient leadership skills in the 21st century. The training is designed to enhance the capacity of Chief Executive Officers and top management officers which in turn will improve them in terms of quality leadership and performance and the states which were present were Lagos, Benue and Edo. Lagos State SUBEB was led to the training by the Board Chairman, Honourable Wahab Alawiye –King who reiterated that training and retraining leads to acquisition of knowledge which exposes one to new ideas and methodology.
