BADAGRY LGEA CELEBRATES EXCEPTIONAL PUPILS, TEACHERS AND NON TEACHING STAFF

Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) Badagry recently rolled out the drums to celebrate all exceptional stakeholders in the provision of basic education in the LGEA. These exceptional stakeholders cut across all cadres of its workforce to include teachers, pupils, guards, clerks and cleaners. Speaking at the occasion, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo commended the LGEA for their tremendous effort in leaving no child behind in acquiring basic education. She went further by advising the winners to always strive to do better and never to be complacent because others are equally aspiring to be winners. The Education Secretary of the LGEA, Alhaja Modinat Adebayo stated that all members of staff of the LGEA deserve to be celebrated because they gave their commitment and made great sacrifices during the outgoing year despite the various challenges brought by the pandemic. She charged all members of staff to do more because the government had made the work of teaching easier through various infrastructural development and training of all teachers in the primary school. Mrs Akinleye Florence of Anglican Primary School Itoga emerged the best head teacher while Mr Ayoola Michael of Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School 2 Araromi won the best teacher award.
