Adaranijo Primary School was founded on the 26th September, 1980. The school was formerly at Pedro Primary School before they were transferred to this site. The school was later divided into two: Adaranijo School I and II. Adaranijo School II was later given another name which was Igbehinadun primary School. The population of the school by then was 120 pupils while Mrs. C .F.O. was the first headmaster.
