This is an Internet Community for all schools in the public sector as well as the private sector in Lagos State.

This is a collaborative project between The Government of Lagos State, through the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science & Technology with Global Education Media (Nig.) Limited as part of the modernisation effort in the education sector.

What we do

Each school can be easily located and their detailed information viewed by a worldwide audience including Nigerians resident abroad who mostly desire to bring their children/wards home for qualitative education.

Access to our world-class online LEARNING RESOURCES which can be downloaded and printed for use by teachers in the classroom or parents at home to support the learning of pupils.

Instant access to information from the Lagos State Ministry of Education which will be sent to your schools' nominated GSM number or email address.

Schools can celebrate their accomplishments, showcase their challenges to interested stakeholders like former pupils, inform parents on their events and activities calendar for the year as well as let the world know of their future plans.

On each school's page, we can publish their documents like application forms, year book, photo galleries and such activities as their inter-house sports, parents' evening, prize-giving day, school visits and other important occasions.

Opportunity to participate in our series of educational events and activities aimed at improving education in the state, i.e. continuous professional development (CPD) for teaching and non-teaching staffs, seminars, workshops, discussion forum and interactive sessions.

Durotimi started his working career at the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo, as a corper/lecturer after studying social sciences and management at the University of Ilorin in the 1980s.

He later joined a marketing communications outfit where he rose to top level management position working on some blue chips accounts/brands like Toyota Motors, R.T. Briscoe, Peak Milk and GBO/MDS – Division of UAC of Nigeria Plc.

Working with these successful organisations enabled him to garner very vital experience which has stood him in good stead in handling other challenging responsibilities ever since he came over to the United Kingdom to further his education and career as a teacher.

Educated at the prestigious Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent, England where he completed his post-graduate studies in Citizenship Education and duly registered with the General Teaching Council for England as a professional teacher.

He has since taught in schools across Kent and South East England while also doubling as the Head, Research and Publications for African Concern. A UK based publication focused on bringing to the front burner of global discourse, issues that affect African development. He is also a qualified Assessor with Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR) – A British examination body. Currently, Durotimi is undertaking some research work in the area of Education, Development and Sustainability.
