School History

Sango Senior Secondary School, Agege was founded on the first of September, 1982 with a population of 243 students. The Principal was Mr. Adeogun E.O. who was here from 1982-1985. he handed over to Mrs. Blackson M.B. (of blessed memory) who was here between 1986 and 19th October, 1995. Alhaja Mumini I.A. the 3rd principal of the school resuned on the 19th October, 1995 and handed over to the fourth Principal on the 17th June, 1997 in the person of Mrs. Adeyemo Owoeye A.A. who was the principal of the school between 17th June, 1997 and 5th October, 2006. Mr. Popoola B. the fifth Principal resume on 9th of September, 2011. Mrs Ajani F.O. became the sixth Principal of the school till date.

Okoduwa Israel - Spelling Bee winner at Local Government Level(Agege), he also came 2nd in Awokoya Chemistry Competition at State Level. Abubakar Haruna - A greater Footballer, the school came 2nd at GTB Principal 's Cup 2011 and played in Paris Club. Having a poor background, he had the best SSCE result and was admitted into the University of Lagos. Tijani Aninulahi - He won Lagos State Science Quiz Competition at Badagry
