School History

Mapland was borne out of a vision to make every child count and is guided by its motto: "For God and Service to Humanity". Our belief is that everything we are or do is to the glory of God and for the betterment of humanity. This belief is evident in our staffs, who work relentlessly and passionately with each child to help them achieve their best. Every child is taught to appreciate the fact that the purpose of our existence is to complement each other regardless of the competitive nature of mankind. Mapland offers a full Montessori learning experience for pre-schoolers prep/nursery) while our primary curriculum is framed around the Nigerian/British National Curriculum and the exciting and innovative International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in a smart learning environment. We take care to nurture the children emotionally and socially by paying close attention to their individual welfare. In Mapland, every child is given excellent care and attention due to the low child to teacher ratio and is motivated to learn at his/her own comfortable pace while being helped to build on age appropriate skills.
