School History

Awelewa nursery and primary school is the brainchild of Mr. P.O. Awe and Mrs. A.O. Awe(Passed away in June 2015).Until her death Mrs. Awe was totally in charge of the school. The school was founded in September,1989 on our return from Britain.The school which was Mr. Awe'sproject during his MBA degree course in Britain is noted for very high academic performance within our catchment area It involves extra curricular activities such as cultural ,business abd debating /dramatic clubs

To continue with the computerization of the school administration and academic systems as well as the laboratories and build a separate physical site to house a very good secondary school . Also to involve our pupils in more state and national competitions to enable them win awards make more achievements which we know they are capable of

That Lagos State Ministry of Education should computerized their systems.,once information is submitted to the ministry schools will not be bothered to re submit such information again,for example once approval is given ,and receipt is issued to such school ,photocopies of such document need not be requested again, it eliminate paper information thereby promote efficiency
