School History
Amuwo odofin muslim community in its resolve to find a lasting resolution to the perennial influx of his children to other faith in search of western education, embarked on the establishment of Amuwo Odofin Muslim Community Private School. On Monday 15th September, 1997, the school was founded with sixty-six (66)pupils, a director of studies (Now Headmaster), six (6) teachers, a day guard and office assistance. On the 12th October, 1997, management board was inaugurated to formulate educational policies in lieu with directives of both Lagos State and federal governments of Nigeria and oversee the daily activities of the school. The first set of our graduates passed out in 1999/2000 academic year. Substantial numbers of these inaugural sets are now in various universities within and outside the country.
