School History

St. Stephen's Nursery and Primary School located at 13, Oweh Street, Fadeyi Yaba was founded on Monday 28th Sept, 2009 during the tenure of ven. G.I. Onuoha as the vicar of St. Stephen's Church IgbobI-Fadeyi. The school commenced with two(2) pioneer Mrs. Ngozi Okoli as the head teacher and Miss Joy Nwanna as a class teacher, two non-teaching staff and six pupils, The population rose to one hundred and thirty four(134) in 2019 still counting. The first set of pupils wrote the common entrance placement exam on 5th July 2014 and made 100% pass. In 2014 and 2019, the school scored the highest score in the exam centre. The school started in the church premises but has now move to a permanent and more convenient site.
