School History

Brief History of Eaglesâ€™ Wings School Out of love, and passion for childrenâ€™s bright future, Redeemers Kiddies Centre was established on February 2nd, 2004 by the Good Women Committee of the Redeemers Christian Church of God, National Headquarters Province 1, Ebute Metta, Lagos State under the leadership of Pastor (Mrs) M. Daramola, the Administrator while Pastor (Mrs) Komolafe was the Head of School. In 2005, the school decided to go full Montessori Method of teaching and the name of the school was changed to Redeemersâ€™ Montessori School. The moved to its present location at 91, Herbert Macaulay way off Ibadan Street, Ebute Metta in 2007. In 2008, the present Head of School, Miss Onatoye O.A resumed with twenty-five pupils and nine members of staff. The school has since then experienced a tremendous turn around with over 120 pupils and 25 members of staff including contracts staff. The administrator position was taken up by pastor (Mrs) R. Odesola who succeeded Pasto (Mrs) Yemi Obanure in August 2010 and till date. In the process of school registration, the name of the school was changed to Eaglesâ€™ Wings School. The School has won several Gold medals, plaques, trophies and awards in various activities during Christ Redeemersâ€™ School Movement (CRSM) program and other invited programs. Following building work to expand the school it now has nine classrooms, an Early Years Foundation Stage unit (reception), a hall which also serves as an assembly, a library, a home economics room, a music room. A further small extension will offer additional space for large groups and after school child care, as well as a meeting room for the staff. The large grounds include a playing field with. We have an excellent range of ICT facilities with interactive whiteboards our ICT classroom and access to individual tabletop computers for all phases.
