To instill in students the Virtues That Last Including Sound Academic, Entrepreneurial and Moral Skills that will place them on a firm pedestal for the Challenges of their generation.

School History

Potasfield College is a Christian School that came into existence in the year 2005. The founder was clearly reminded about how he became a christian when he was only a lad in secondary school. He was convinced that it was time to do something about the gospel and faith that had been committed into his hand as regards the young generation. The vision became clearer by the day that he has a mandate to reach out to the very young ones in our times just as God reached out to him when he was in class II. The way to go about it was quite vivid as he was to follow the ancient paths in line with early European missionaries to Nigeria who reached out to our people with the gospel in our hand and education in the other, coupled with various kind of care giving (hospitals, orphanages, settlement and so on). By the immense grace of God, the journey physically commenced in 2006 with the acquisition of land and the construction started the following year. The college commenced her first session on 19th September 2011 with the admission of two SS I students and three JSS I students, having employed on the 1st of September the principal and five teaching staff as follows; Igbokwe T.C. Mrs Principal Ejikeme M.I. Mrs Okoye Sonia Miss Ikiere Ebi Miss Ajunwa Joel Mrs Ezealigo Cornelius Mr The 2011/2012 academic session closed with a number of thirteen students.The story has changed and the school has taken her place among her equals. The college stands out as a result of her strategy based on its values and rooted in the founding principles "FOR VIRTUES THAT LAST". Our determination and grit in focusing on the core values and objectives would in the long run impact our local community and Nation in general placing the college on a firm footing to confirm our position as one of the leading schools in the environment. Potasfield college is a popular choice and the students enjoy the experience which is second to none.
