School History
State Junior High School, Alimosho was carved out of the State High School and Senior on 6th of January, 2023 when all post primary schools were split into Junior and Secondary Schools. At inception, there were 5 blocks housing the classrooms, staff rooms, vice principal officers and the principal's office.The number of staff were 94, comprising of 17 male and 77 female. The student population as at January 2003 was 2,752

Future Plans for the School
State Junior High School Alimosho is poised for greatness. In the coming years, our school plans to expand its facilities to include state-of-the-art science labs, a modern library, and a spacious auditorium. We also aim to introduce new extracurricular programs, such as robotics and coding clubs, to equip our students with the skills needed to thrive in the 21st century. Additionally, our school plans to establish partnerships with local businesses and organizations to provide our students with internship and mentorship opportunities, preparing them for successful careers and futures.
