School History

The school was established in September,1999 with the primary aim of building youths that are intellectually empowered and morally sound to face future challenges .Hence, the school motto' 'emerged as ''Education is the best legacy''. The school shortened to be ''The Gumi School' 'was named after an erudite Islamic scholar in the Northern part of Nigeria the Gumi school started with kindergarten and nursery classes not more than 30 pupils .Within few years , the academic and moral performance of the school as well as the structure grew from strength to strength which became the talk of the town.
