School History
Kanon Schools was established in September 2019 as a co-educational school. Kanon Schools stand for the initials of the founder. The school started with Five pupils, Five boys and no girls, and twelve subjects were taught including ICT. 1 Pioneer staff resumed with the pupils in September 2019. The school had participated in several Literary and Debating, in which she won laurels. The curricula and co curricula activities are student-centered and are channeled towards students’ strength and their core competence in a bid to achieve independence in learning and learners being critical of what they learn. Kanon Schools seeks to guide children towards being well-rounded individuals by imparting in them and raising them on the values of hard work, integrity, respect, excellence, obedience, leadership, and creativity through the knowledge and skills they acquire in their quest to become leaders. At Kanon School,s we aim to build up children’s character, learning ability, interpersonal relationships, and healthy habits in their adolescence and youth as well as lay a foundation for their future development. Our school, therefore, looks forward to Kanon Pupils learning and developing themselves, such that, upon graduation, they will: ? Be polite, respectful, communicative, accommodating, and collaborative. ? Have self-respect, self-confidence, self-discipline, and well-established life philosophy and values. ? Be independent, proactive, responsible, and ready to serve others and contribute to society. ? Have cultivated an interest in learning and knowing how to learn.
