School History
The school was established in August 1980 as Okota High School .The school then came into being as Okota Senior High School on the 6th January ,2003 with Mrs. E.M. Akinribido as Principal .After her was Mrs. B.C. Saheed. Presently Mrs. M.A AINA is the principal of Okota Senior High School, Okota while Mrs M.F Kolawole is the vice principal. The present staff strength is 31 teaching and 1 non teaching staff with 730 students population.

Future Plans for the School
To take the school to greater height. Counseling of students in the ratio of 25 students per teacher. In House training and retraining of teachers especially on 21st century skills for effective teaching and learning. Inter and intra school competition in literary and debating and quiz competition.
