School History
"Dolphin Junior High School is situated at 2 Saviours Street, Ebute Elefun, Lagos Island. It came into existence with the creation of junior and senior secondary schools following the decentralization of Lagos State Teaching Service Commission In 2002 and with the emergence if six (6) Education Districts in Lagos. In September 2002, the school resumes with Mr. O. Y. Onatoye as the principal with sixteen (16) Teaching Staff and five (5) Non Teaching Staff. Mr M. K. Ladipo was the Vice Principal. The school population then was 399 students made up of ISS 1 120, JSS 2 184 and HSS 3 86.. In February, 2004, the school had full scale recognition inspection. The team was headed by Mrs Akinpelu of Lagos Island Local Education District. Presently the school has a population of 654 made of ISS 1 244 JSS 2 235 and JSS 3 175.
