School History
"In 1960, some eminent and dynamic Muslim educationist met at Adebiaye Street in Lagos. The resultant effect of their deliberation was the establishment of the Ansar ud-Deen Secondary commercial school Apapa. In 1963 the school was moved to it's present site at surulere. The originally created to serve the commercial aspect of life. Students were given formal education in commercial subjects. In 1969. Alhaji S B Selem with the support of the Board of Governors, introduce science subjects in the curriculum that necessitated the change of the school name to Ansar ud-Deen junior high school. In order to fully implement the 6-3-3-4 system of education, Ansar ud-Deen junior high School was created 6th January, 2003. PRINCIPAL: MRS B O SAIBU from 2003-2008. Members of staff eight (8) and one (1) nonteaching staff. Students population 480 male and 300 female. Total 780. "
