School History

"The centre was founded in the mid-70s by SMC, Epe, Lagos State. The centre was formerly called Domestic science centre. During this period, the centre had three main departments of Home Economics and managed as follows: 1. Alhaja Balogun - Food and Nutrition 2. Alhaja Apena - Clothing and Textile 3. Mrs. Otunniyi - Home Management In the 80s the Domestic science centre was under the supervision of Education Vocational Centre headed by Alhaja L.O Ogunbekun. In the year 1990, Mrs. Onafowope was deployed to manage the centre. It was then attached to the LGEA office; School support and service section (SSS). Later, it was attached to St. Theresa's (RCM) primary school, Epe. The centre was became autonomous in the year 2010 and headed by Mrs. T.A.O Banjo. Later Mrs. Ojiwusi Celilia Olusola was transferred to the centre on the 1st August 2017 and was retired on July 2022. I, Mrs. Avoaja Mercy Chinenye resumed duty on July, 2022 as head teacher of the school. At present, about five Hundred (500) pupils (Boys and Girls) attend the centre, and the number of teaching staff is four (3) and Non- Teaching staff three (3)"
