"Methodist primary school igbogbo was founded in the year 1912 by the Methodist mission at ita igbogbo ejina market where the church agent.He acted as the first headmaster with about 12 pupil Other members of the committee were sokefun,James ogunlaja moses oshodi and Amoos ogunyemi They moved to the present site around 1950 The school have been fairing well on the field of sports and debates.they took second position in the state debate competition for primary schools 1984/1985"
