School History
"Festac Junior Grammar School came to being as a result of the division of schools into Junior and Senior Secondary School, respectively, by Lagos State Government. The division took effect on January 6th, 2003. The school commenced with Mr. B.A. Isiaka is the pioneer principal with the staff strength of thirty (30) females and seven (7) males. Three (3) teachers were later deployed to another school. The school resume with a population of one thousand one hundred and twenty nine (1,129) students with five (5) arms in JSS1, six (6) arms in JSS2 and five (5) arms of JSS3 to make it a total of sixteen (16) classes. The school has four (4) blocks of classrooms, one of which is still under construction. Two (2) of these classrooms houses, the principal and vice principal's office and staff room. The school also has an introductory technology workshop. The school, under a new auspicious of principal and staff, is ready to move the school forward with academic excellence."
