School History

"Local government primary school, Okorisan was founded in the year 1955 by community missionary government. Melina, idiagbon, okera, Ojota, Afero, Erepoto and Aba. It was categorized after Riverine-West school School in Epe LGA due to its proximity to the lagoon. The first Head teacher of Local government primary school, Okorisan was Mr. Wadhu. He was the only teaching staff with twenty - six (26) pioneer pupils. Some of the pupils who passed through the school have become graduate in various discipline, business tycoons, heads of sections in parastatals, clergymen to mention a few. The present Head teacher of the school is Mr Okebowale O.J. The stakeholders include school Based management committee chairman in person of Mr. Alogba Tajudeen and parent forum chairman Mr. Salisu Maliki Ogunga"
