The school was established on 2nd of October year 2002 ,by the SPEB officials and the education secretary of Alimosho local govt The person of Chief S . B Abouade. The school was carved out from local govt primary school idimu under the headship of Mrs A I Eyemonu and Mrs C O Alabi the assistant headteacher. The school is known and named as idimu community pry school idimu. It took off with 18 teachers and 7 non teaching staff.
