The school was founded in 1916 and occupied a two- storey building constructed in 1959 with only twelve classrooms located at 9, Savage Street, Apapa Road, Ebute-Metta(West). Most learners come low income hikes at Otto,Ojo-Oniyun, Apapa Road, Illogbo and Ebute Metta environs. The school is easily accessible to learners and visitors.

Future Plans for the School

My future plan for the school is to effectively use all available resources to promote academic excellence, good morals, discipline, and the fear of God among the children. I will ensure that teaching and learning are improved by supporting teachers through training and supervision, while also making good use of instructional materials such as textbooks, libraries, and ICT tools. Regular assessments will be carried out to monitor students’ progress and provide necessary support to those who need extra help. In addition, I will emphasize moral instruction by encouraging values such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and kindness in both the classroom and school activities. Discipline will be maintained through clear rules and consistent guidance, helping students to develop self-control and good behavior. I will also promote spiritual growth by organizing regular assemblies, prayers, and devotional activities that will help instill the fear of God in the students’ lives. Furthermore, I will work closely with teachers, parents, and the community to create a supportive learning environment. Extracurricular activities such as sports and clubs will be encouraged to develop students’ talents and leadership skills. Through proper planning, monitoring, and commitment, the school will produce well-rounded students who are academically sound, morally upright, disciplined, and God-fearing.
