School History

The school was formally known as Family Support Program Nursery and Primary school, Olusosun. It was established by the then Lagos State First Lady (Mrs. Munirat Marwa) on the27th of October, 1998. But the school session effectively took off on 26th April, 1999 with four Teachers and 12 pupils. The first headteacher of the school was Mrs V.T. Ojo. On 18th December, 1999, the first lady ( Mrs Oluremi Tinubu) handed over the School to LSPEP, Maryland. Mrs. Ojo V. T . was the Head Teacher of the school between 10th November 1998 - 2nd February year 2005. Mrs Odugbesin S.F . became the Head Teacher of LSPEP Nursery and Primary School Olusosun Ikeja on 27th January,2005 and retired from service on 19th June, 2011. Mr. Akinyemi became the Head Teacher of LSPEP Model Nursery and Primary school Olusosun Ikeja on the 28th June, 2011 to 29th November, 2012. Mrs . Ebereonwu C.N . became the Head Teacher of Lagos State Model Nursery and Primary School Olusosun Ikeja on the 20th November, 2012 to 1st July, 2015. Mrs Egbo acted as the Head Teacher of the school from 1st July 2015 to 10th November 2015. Mrs . Boboye C.O became the Head Teacher of Lagos State Model Nursery and Primary school Olusosun Ikeja on 13th November, 2015 to 30th September, 2020. Mrs Adelakun Lydia Foluwake became the acting Head Teacher of Lagos State Model Nursery and Primary school Olusosun Ikeja on the 19th February, 2020. She took the mantle of the headship of the school from Mrs C.O. on the 30th September, 2020 till 16th July, 2024. Adebanjo Fausat ldowu (Mrs.) reported as acting Head Teacher on the 17th of July at the Grade level 15 immediately after the demised of the Headteacher Adelakun Lydia Foluwake (Mrs.
