School History

The school was funded in the year 1942, it was called village group school. Because it was established under the village group system sited on the Area of 4451.76m2, i.e Area 64.8m Lent. 68.7m.In the year 1955 the local authority council took over the control and finance of native authority school and renamed local authority school.under the control of Epe local education authority.Two words are very import in the history of the school vis-a-vis 'Government' and 'Central'. The present name came to life when all the six District Councils Epe Division were merged to form a local government during the first military Era in the year 1966. The local government took over the control of the school and there by renamed this school as 'Local Government Central Primary school. The school had been represent the whole district. It was located at the center to serve all the neighbouring villagers like, OTTA IKOSI, IKOSI BEACH, ADO, ORUGBO, ODO AYANDELU, IMOPE. The former village school now called Local government central school. The name of the present head teacher is Mr Odumeru sikiru Adekunle
