OKE IFAKO NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL IFAKO GBAGADA was founded on 5th of October, 1981 The school is located at number 2 ALH. ADEBESHIN STREET IFAKO GBAGADA, in kosofe local government area of Lagos state. The mother of oke ifako nursery and primary school is Ifako primary school, the two schools are in the same complex and are neighbors of Ifako comprehensive high school. The two schools are no longer school 1 and school 2 . 18 teachers and 2 non teaching staff 704 pupils took off from Ifako primary school, Kiniufa Ifako . The school has been successfully managed by 5 headteacher 1. Mrs B.o Odukoya 5/10/81 - 8/10/84 2. Late Mr R.o ojamo 4/10/84 - 30/6/90 3. Mrs . C.o fareo 1/7/90. - 27/5/95 4. Mr. F.o Adio 1/6/95 - 28/1/97 5. Mr. I.A. Dada 3/2/97 - 21/2/2005 BEAUTIFICATION OF THE SCHOOL The facial outlook of the school was somehow decorated as at 3rd January 1997 when the headteacher Mr.I.a dada was posted to assume duty in the school as headteacher . He cultivated some ideas, initiative and effort to uplift the facial outlook for good attractive and better environment conducive for learning . His selfless effort and that of the PTA committee made the project to a level of emulation in the locality and outside . WINNERS OF BOURNVITA MERIT AWARD The school has a population of about 629 pupils , 17 headteacher staff and 14 non teaching staff. 1998 2nd in kosofe merit award competition Best head teacher of the year Mr.I.A DADA Best sport teacher of the year mr. L.o Raji The best pupils essay writer of the year Miss bola somefun The best school in jet i.e science and technology 2nd best school of the year 3rd Table tennis miss k. Olusola The school recoded the higher results in the final year exams in the state with 98.9% 2000 KOSOFE MERIT AWARD COMPETITION The school oke ifako nursery and primary school ifako gbagada was awarded the best school award of the year . A publice addressing system was presented to the school 2nd best school award at Lagos state level MERIT AWARD COMPETITION 2001 / 2002 / 2003 .
