School History
The School was founded in the year Feb. 1948 at Ibasha land of Oreta,during the reign of Chief Arowolo the Bale of Oreta. During the period the school was known as Native Authority having four classess namely Pry 1-3 and standard one respectively. In 1955 the school rose to prysix , the building was made of raffia poles.and partitioned with mats while the roof was thatched with iron sheets,without concrete floor. The first Headmaster of the school was Mr. Egbedeji, in 1955 the name of the school was changed to Local Govt. Pry School Oreta. The Schoool have seven teaching staff and nine non teaching staff with pupils population of about 315
