School History

Idera Nursery and Primary school was carved out from Ayedere Pry School with population of pupils under a thousand. It was founded in 26th Sept. 1980. The School is at the complex school compound along Anibaba street Ketu. The first set of administrative officers are Mr. J.J. Sekoni as headteacher, Mrs. C.A. Rogers an Asst. and eighteen teachers. The school started with three blocks of six classrooms in each and eight classrooms were demolished in August 1986 for a prototype building which is yet to be completed. Presently the school has ywelve classrooms with sixteen teaching staff and twenty six NTS, Headteacher and an Asst. excluded.
