A conventional co-educational public outfit aimed at rendering a childhood second stage life. Educational knowledge, albeit feeding the secondary school institution with its able and prepared products. Expressway Primary School 1 was formerly known as Ikosi primary School 2 stsrted operation on the 17th Oct. 1980 with 21 teachers on roll, and eighteen classes. The headteacher of the school Mrs T. O Idowu resumed duty on the 16th Oct. 1980.
