School History

The School was established by Lagos state government at the beginning of 1980/81 session. It was officially opened on 26th Sept. 1980. with Pry 1 registered at Baptist School Kosofe 24 teachers were redeployed from Baptist and 23 posted by schools management committee making 47teachers. Pry 2-6 resumed for the session 1980/81 on 3.10/80 headed by Mr. Onadeko. The School was splited into 2 on Oct. 1980 due to large number of classes which cannot be managed by one headteacher Mr. A.I. Onadeko remain the headteacher I while Mrs. D.M Ogunleye was posted to School 2 To solve the problems of congestion, some classes were transfered from school 2 Apostolic church grammar School 2 to occupy vacant classrooms there. The 1st P.T.A. meeting was held on Nov. 1980 under the chairmanship of Mr. J.A. Talabi who donated a first aid box to the school. The 1st underhouse sport competition came up on March 1981 under the chairmaship of Alhaji Ishola Balogun and Alhaja Saratu Yusufu.
