School History

Apapa High School was founded 26th September 1980 by Alhaji lateef jakande led administration. The school took off with a total of 586 students, 19 teachers and 6 non- teaching staffs. It was later split into junior and senior schools on 6th January 2003. Since then Apapa Senior High School has ranked among the best senior secondary schools in the state with many awards being won by both staff and students. The demographics shows that all major ethnic groups of Nigeria are represented thereby giving it a National outlook. It is needful to state that the Old students too are pulling their weights both at the Local and National Level.
