School History

The School was founded in the year 1869 as C.M.S. Female institution at 17 Broad street. The first principal was Mrs Roper and English lady. In 1891, the school became C.M.S. Girls Seminary. In 1928, school uniform was introduced purple gown with straw hat and badge. In 1983 4th June the name of the school was changed to Anglican Girls seminary School still at Broad street. In 1995 the school was deshifted to christ church cathederal school and the second gate is been used as the school main intrance at 9, sheteolu street, off Odunlami street, C.M.S. area Lagos
