School History

The name of the school was used to honor Gbajabiamilas 's family who live near the school . The school is an off shoot of former Govt demonstration school. The name was later changed to Lagos Mainland Local Government School because of the large growth of the school population the school was divided into 3 . Our school was then known as Govt. Demonstration School 3 under J.P Balogun , the 1st Headteacher on 3rd January ,1977 . She started the school with 24 class teachers and 847 pupils running two shifts system . In the year 1980 ,15 classes were de shifted to start school at Clegg/Ishola Street Surulere which is known as Surulere Pry School. .Since inception ,the school have had 11 headteacher and the 12th is Mrs. P.C. Abiaziem have worked and managed the affairs ,mould character of teacher and pupils for a better development of teaching and learning
