"It is learnt from a reliable source from the elders of otta ikosi that, the school now known called Local Government Primary school OTTA IKOSI was founded as a village school in February 1945 and named as Native Authority School (N,A. SCH) because it was financed by the natives. It was established under the village group system. The school started with two teachers and a head teacher. the length of the school compound was length 644-ft breadth 308 ft. The building was non denominations in all aspect because it was established to cater for the children of the Muslim, Christian, traditional.
