Our Mission Statement

To be a school that will be recognised all over the state and the nation for its impact in the education field and the in production of intelligent citizens.

School History

The school was established in February, 2013 as Iju Junior Grammar school II. The pioneer students and teachers were extracted from Iju Junior Grammar school as a result of large population while the name was later changed to Iju Obawole Junior Grammar school. The pioneer principal was Mr. E.O. Owolewa who assumed duty on the 23rd of April, 2013. The pioneer vice principals were: Mrs. G.F. Daramola (the vp admin) and Mrs. G.O. Majanagbe (vp academics). Nineteen(19) teachers were deployed to kickstart teaching and learning with a total number of 822 students for JSS1 and JSS2. In addition, two non teaching staff were also deployed to assist with clerical jobs and office attending in the school. The school comprised 2 blocks of 5 and 6 classrooms respectively with one toliet for the students.
