School History

"Anglican Primary School Ikorodu was founded in 1905 by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) located at Itunla Street, (Obun Ale) Ikorodu. The school was operated for few years before it was closed down being an unapproved school. It was later reopened 5th of May, 1930 after government approval and headed by Mr. Samuel Akintola as the school first head teacher. It became a full fledged primary in January 1952. Since then became the cornerstone of the community, providing academic per excellence. The School moved to the present location at 5/7 Sheriff Junction Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu and it was renamed Anglican Primary School, in place of it's former name C.M.S. Primary Elementary School. "
