" In year 2002, the then Lagos State Commissioner for Education,Dr Idowu Sobowale announced that all Lagos State Secondary Schools will be Spilted into two Separate autonomous School .The policy gave birth to Eko Girls Junior Grammar School School, Okota . The School was carved out of the then, Eko Girls Grammar School,Okota.On the 6th January,2003,an official from the PP/TESCOM Zonal office,Oshodi/Isolo LED came to introduce Mrs A.O Daramola,as principal of the School ."
