School History

January 22,1962 witnessed the birth of a Grammar school which was founded under the auspices of the Joint Board of Agege, Ikeja and Mushin Local Authority known as U.C.A Grammar School, Oshodi. The Joint Education Committee of the three Local Councils School Committee Mr. E.O. Sowunmi, Mr. J. Ola Ayeni the Chairman of the Board Messrs Okuntola, Apelehin, Gbeleyi, Rev. Osoba, Father Martins, Rev. Olojo of Agege who send the prayers and many other signitaries, Mr. J.O. Oye, a minister was also present. The Principal Mr. E.A. Ogunyemi B.A. Hons (Classics) and two other teachers Mr. Efoli and Miss Oladimeji were also present. There were fifty one pupils in attendance and the opening ceremony was brought to an end with a group photography
