The school was established in August 1980 as Okota High School .The school then came into being as Okota Senior High Schoolon the 6th January ,2003 with Mrs. E.M. Akinribido as Principal .After her was Mrs. B.C. Saheed , and presently Mrs. M.O. Odusi.Present staff strength is 30 teaching and 5 non teaching with 403 students popuilation
