School History

The school was founded in October 1982 from the defunct Surulere grammar School ,established by Domingos who also served as the Pioneer Principal .The Present School ,Akintan Senior grammar School came into being on 6th January ,2003 following the splitting of Akintan Grammar School into Junior and Senior categories .There has been a significant improvement in the academic and moral tone of the school since February 2009 when the current Principal came on board .It is hope that the will translate into improved learning outcome very soon
