Established in 1981 during the civilian administration of Alhaji Lateet Jakande as an only girls school. The school has a reputation for training girls to meet the demand of a modern society with emphasis to a high moral standard with integrity.

Future Plans for the School

The School is currently under-going massive reconstruction by the Lagos State government of Governor Fashola. Two new prototype buildings are being constructed and should be ready by August 2010. The new buildings will house laboratories Computer centre with internet facilities and classrooms.
